Wedding Planning

Your wedding planner is the most important member of your team. You'll be in constant contact and their entire focus will be on helping you to curate the exact experience that you want. Our planners spend around 100 hours working with each couple and take full responsibility for every aspect of the wedding and your experience.

The planning pricing really depends a lot on the number of guests (a 30 person wedding requires less hours of planning and on site management than a 150 person wedding!). Roughly $4-$8 thousand of our total wedding price goes towards the planners fee and our planning team.

Food

World class chefs will prepare Western or Indonesian style food that your guests will love! Each venue offers something different so check out the sample menus from our chefs on the venue pages.

There’s a perception that in Bali, the food should be cheap. If you’ve ever been to Bali, you’ll know that you can get delicious food from a local warung for a couple of dollars per person. It’s cheap and often delicious! So why does it cost so much for catered food in Bali? It’s because the venues we use source great ingredients, ensure that there is loads of food and it takes a lot of chef time to prepare.

Below are some average per person costs but again, make sure you contact us for a tailored proposal that will give you more accurate numbers and include any special requirements like kid’s food, or dietary restrictions.

We can put on a farm style, gourmet drop menu with platters to share at each table for between $99 and $150 per person

There’s also a scrumptious buffet option which you can upgrade depending on your needs. Expect to pay between $99 and $140 per person for this option.

At some venues we offer live food stations to give your reception a unique market place feel. It’s best to budget between $80 and $99 per person if you’re looking at this option.

When it comes to cakes we pride ourselves on working with the best in the Bali wedding industry. You should pay between $300 and $400 depending on the cake size you choose and including the cakeage cost

Drinks

This really depends on the venue you choose and the number of guests you invite!

In the earlier part of your day you’ll probably want welcome drinks to give your guests. A non-alcoholic welcome drink is always included free of charge. For post ceremony drinks, allow between $30 and $80 per person depending on what you’re looking for. For a very reasonable corkage fee, most venues will also allow you to BYO.

You also have options when it comes to the drinks at your reception. There’s a free flow wine, beer, juice and water package for between $80 and $120 per person or you can have a range of signature cocktails with BYO liquor.

Again, talk to us about your needs as we do have free flow packages and tips on how to BYO liquor that could cut your costs and ensure extra merriment!

Flowers

You can expect to pay between $150 and $250 for a gorgeous bridal bouquet, a groom’s buttonhole posy and flowers for the bride’s hair. We have sourced brilliant florists and you’ll be able to choose your own colours and styles.

You also have the option of ordering extra bridesmaid’s bouquets and groomsmen’s buttonhole flowers as well as flowers for the mother of the bride for between $15 and $50.

The venue flowers vary in type and cost. You can have flower curtains behind the altar or decorating an archway above the ceremony area. Expect to pay between $120 and $600 for these depending on what you choose.

You can also have flowers for the pillars of the ceremony pavilion, an arrangement to sit on your altar table and even small posies to decorate your reception tables. Put aside between $50 and $150 for this option depending on what you choose.

Lastly we provide flowers to create a stunning petal aisle and give your guests small baskets of petals confetti to shower you with after the ceremony. This costs between $80 and $100 and is something almost all of our couples choose.

Further to this, some venues include accommodation with the rates they give us, others include special rates for your guest accomodation so make sure you check out all the options and possible inclusions to get the best deal.

Service

A wedding takes a lot of work but don’t worry we’ve got it covered! Other than your planning team there are a range of professional staff members who’ll be there to look after you and your guests throughout the day.

Think the photographer, the function manager the florists, your celebrant, the bar and wait staff, the chef and his team, a private butler, your drivers, an MC, the sound equipment and entertainment guys, the child care providers, and many more.

Depending on guest numbers and venue, you can expect to pay between $4000 and $12 000 for some or all of these service providers throughout your celebration. We make sure we cater to all budgets and so have sourced the best options in Bali with some spectacular photography packages starting from just $1000. One thing we are sure to never scrimp on however is quality, because long after you’ve forgotten how much you’ve paid, you’ll want images that do justice to the unforgettable experience that only a Bali wedding can provide.

Do make sure you get in touch with us before you create a final budget. There are always ways to splurge and ways to save.

Getting Quotes from Planners

When you’re shopping around for the best deal it can be hard to work out exactly what is included and what’s not. It’s a common tactic for planners to present all in one pricing that leaves out a bunch of expenses. This makes the first price you see seem cheap. However, once you get into the planning process you’ll start getting offered all sorts of extras and upsells. It will feel like you’re being sold to the whole time and it doesn’t make for a pleasant experience.

There are also lots of hidden extras you want to bring to the surface right from the beginning. Extra taxes (noted as ++ on many quotes...these can run as high as 21%); currency fluctuations, particularly if you’re being quoted in US dollars and bank transfer fees if you’re having to make multiple payments to an overseas bank account. On the plus side, you’re not having to pay the GST that normally applies to a wedding at home, so that’s an instant saving of 10% or more!

Be sure to get a really clear, written quote and legally binding contract that shows exactly what you’re getting so you don’t get stung later.
