Your Ceremony

Nusa Dua is the playground of millionaires and the sweeping lawns of this beachfront estate are worthy of the clientele. Your ceremony will be performed a few steps from the beach under an elegant carved Teak wooden pavilion. White, Romanesque drapes are used to dress the pillars and fragrant blooms are artfully arranged to complement the colours of your wedding party. You’ll stand before each other as the palm trees sway and the sun begins to drop towards the horizon.

Your Reception

The options for your reception are endless. After the ceremony, your guests will wander into a garden party setting that looks like it’s been taken out of a Victorian novel. Umbrellas provide shade and vines creep up the walls as wait staff serve cool drinks. The entire lawn area is your playground so let us create you a fantasy theme park.

Think candy floss stands, lawn bowls, croquet matches and all of your loved ones dressed to the nines. Your Wedding Day Itinerary

Here's a sample itinerary of a classic wedding day at Taman Bhagawan. This will give you an idea about how the day might evolve.

On Arrival

You’ll arrive mid morning to meet your wedding planner and be shown to your wedding HQ, a discreet centre of operations which has been set up to host each of you in private quarters for the day. Glasses of bubbly and tropical fruit will be waiting, so sit back and relax as our staff take care of everything.

The Pampering

Your favourite music will play in the background as you indulge in a relaxing massage before our talented hair and makeup team arrives to beautify you and your bridesmaids. They’ll apply the styles and colours you’ve chosen as you sit together in front of a line of mirrors, chatting and letting the excitement build. The lads have their own grooming team who’ll make sure all shirts are crisply ironed and their shoes are shined before they sit back with a whisky to contemplate what’s ahead.

The Flowers

Our master team of florists will arrive after lunch to deliver your bridal bouquet and groom’s boutonniere. By this time our Botanica Weddings function team will have set everything up in the format you’ve requested so the florists can walk through and provide the finishing touches with tropical blooms at your altar, your tables and anywhere else you’d like them! You’ll also have rose petals laid down on your aisle, and petal confetti for your guests to scatter in celebration.

The Guests

By mid-afternoon, your guests will begin arriving through Taman Bhagawan’s carved ceremonial entranceway. They’ll be greeted by Balinese waiters in traditional ceremony dress and be shown down through the estate to your seaside pavilion. As the music plays softly in the background your loved ones will sip on chilled coconut and lime juice and take their seats in anticipation.

The Ceremony

As the sun sinks lower in the sky and everyone is seated, the groom and his best man will be shown to the pavilion area to greet the guests and wait for the bride to make her big entrance. When everything is in place, your wedding planner will radio the ground staff who will hush the crowd as your song begins to play.

The bridesmaids will make their way down the candle-lit pathway towards the sea then, as the music peaks, you’ll take a deep breath and set off down the aisle as your husband to-be waits for you in the hand-carved ceremony pavilion. The aisle is long enough for you to take in the view: a stretch of manicured gardens with white sand and soft waves in the background.

The Photography

Taman Bhagawan is the creation of the same master landscaper responsible for the magnificent tree-lined boulevards of Nusa Dua. This unique location combines Bali’s iconic architectural style with lush botany, and tropical greenery that provides an array of stunning settings for your photos.

From the white sand beachfront to the massive stone Rama Shinta entrance, there are countless different features and backdrops you and your guests can use to capture the perfect Instagram picture of your wedding.

The Entertainment

From lawn games to Balinese dancers or even a string quartet, we can organise whatever entertainment you’d like. Our DJ will also be there to spin tunes which match every moment of your day. The venue is big enough to host fire dancers, torch bearers and even a rock concert if you want to go big.  

The Reception

Once your guests have snapped enough shots of the phenomenal sunset they’ll be ushered to an antique, open-air joglo where celebratory drinks are served. You can have your dinner tables set by the fountain, on the lawn or inside the joglo. Either way, the venue will be peppered with lanterns, fairy lights and softly glowing candles, creating an unforgettable “lost in the tropics” atmosphere.

You'll dine with your guests and if you want to take part in any classic traditions like the bouquet toss, this is the time. Your dance floor can be on a raised platform beside the fountain or down by the sparkling pool. Our DJ will work with your wedding planner to create a set that will have you partying late into the night.

The Food

Whatever your taste, this venue has a talented in-house chef that will delight and surprise you with a tailored menu created especially for your wedding. You can indulge in both Western or Indonesian flavours that are made using the highest quality ingredients.

Then there's the option of live food carts scattered to create the feel of a chic street market. And of course, we work with the best patisserie chefs in Bali to bake wedding cakes that look amazing and taste simply delicious.

The Farewell

When it’s time to depart, your guests will farewell you with fireworks or a simple but simply beautiful lantern release ceremony. Together you’ll release a glowing orb into the sky to signify the process of letting go of your old lives and committing to a whole new future. This romantic ritual makes for a dreamy end to your reception that will bring tears to your eyes before you’re whisked away in air-conditioned comfort to finish the night in each other’s arms.
