Your Ceremony

This breathtaking wedding venue combines five-star luxury with truly epic views. Your ceremony will take place on the highest clifftop on the Bukit peninsula 500 feet about the water. Guests sit facing the ocean on elegantly dressed Tiffany chairs while an arch weaved with tropical flowers awaits your arrival at the altar. You’ll stand together and make your vows as the breeze ruffles your hair and an endless blue sky soars above.

Your Reception

The Edge is a venue with a master’s degree in opulence. The reception area is dressed with hundreds of star lights which begin to glitter as the sun sets. Your guests will take their place at tables laid with stunningly elegant settings and indulge in a menu prepared by a world-class chef.

You’ll sit together, laugh together, cry together then party into the evening as a DJ spins tunes on the sea deck and the bartenders serve delicious drinks. Once the formalities are over, you can retire to your private villa where bartenders and wait staff will cater to every need imaginable!

Your Wedding Day Itinerary

Here's a sample itinerary of a classic wedding day at The Edge. This will give you an idea about how the day could evolve.

On Arrival

You’ll journey through the windy roads towards the cliff tops of Uluwatu in air-conditioned comfort. On arrival, your wedding planner will be there with a cool drink and a golf buggy to whisk you away to a private villa where you’ll spend the day preparing for the event. There are several villas available, so if you’d like to be a bit traditional and not see each other before the ceremony, just ask.

The Pampering

We know you’ll have been preparing for weeks, but this is where the pampering truly begins! Our professional hair and makeup team will arrive on site ready to take care of you. As with everything in Bali, it’s easy to book hair and makeup for just yourself - or splurge and adorn your entire wedding party. You’ll also be offered healthy food and lashings of champagne or fresh juice as time begins to speed up and the excitement builds!

The Flowers

Our master team of florists will arrive after lunch to deliver your Bridal bouquet and Groom’s boutonniere. By this time, our Botanica Weddings function team will have set everything up on the sea deck. Then the florists walk through and provide the finishing touches with tropical blooms at your altar, your tables and anywhere else you’d like them! You’ll also have rose petals laid down on your aisle, and fresh flower petal confetti for your guests to scatter in celebration.

The Guests

By mid-afternoon, you’ll nearly be ready and your guests will be making their way up from Uluwatu to your incredible venue. Upon arrival at The Edge, they’ll wander down towards the cliff’s edge and be given cold drinks and time to chat. While you receive your final touches of glamour, your guests will be taking in the breathtaking view of the Indian Ocean.

The Ceremony

Cue the drum roll! Your wedding planner will radio the ground staff to usher the groom and his groomsmen down to greet your guests and gather themselves before the bride arrives. Simultaneously, the bride and her bridesmaids will discreetly make their way towards the cliff’s edge. Your planner will be there to perfectly time your aisle walk, so the song you’ve chosen sets the stage for a crowd-stopping entrance that will put a lump in your throat with its beauty.

The Sunset Party

After the ceremony it's time to celebrate at sunset on the Sea Deck overlooking the magnificent Indian Ocean views. Enjoy canapes and catch up with your guests in one of the most beautiful places in the world.

The Photography

The Edge offers impressive views, and your photographer will be there throughout the day to capture you getting ready, sharing time with loved ones and building up to the biggest party ever! Make sure you capture that once in a lifetime sunset shot then tour the property for photo opportunities as your guests head up to the sea deck for post ceremony canapes and cool drinks.

The Entertainment

If you’d like to experience some of Bali’s beautiful culture we’ll ask a spectacular troupe of Balinese dancers, torch bearers and musicians to perform in honour of your love. Drums will pound and sparks will fly to create an unbeatable early evening show. Our talented DJ will also be there spinning tunes to match every moment of your day, and there are endless other entertainment options if you want them. From fire dancers to fireworks, this really is your party.

The Reception

This is the time where you’ll catch up with your loved ones, indulge in incredible food and if you like, take part in some old school traditions like the bouquet toss. Our functions manager will be there organising the event so you can rest assured that everyone will have a full glass to toast with, and that the speeches are delivered to an audience with full tummies! Together you’ll slice pieces of scrumptious cake to feed each other, then step out onto the specially lit floor for either a classic first dance or a little something you prepared earlier.

The Food

Executive Chef, Nyoman Suasa will wine and dine you on the day. Trained in the kitchens of the renowned Beverly Wilshire Hotel in LA, he heads up an outstanding culinary team at The Edge. You’ll enjoy three courses of gourmet cuisine served to share at each table, as well as free flowing local wines, beers, soft drinks and juices to raise your glasses with. Water stations and chilled refresher towels are also supplied and of course, we work with Bali's best bakers to provide spectacular wedding cakes!

The After Party

You can expect the formal celebrations to wind up around 11 pm and most guests will choose to head home. But there’s no reason for you to stop celebrating so we’ll set you up with tunes, drinks, food and whatever else you need for an afterparty in one of the Edge’s five-star villas.

The Homecoming

When it’s finally time to rest you’ll slip away to finish the night in a simply sublime honeymoon villa. Together you can watch the sun come up with an uninterrupted view of the ocean that was named ‘The Best In The World’ by Conde Naste in 2016. You can lounge around, check the social media uproar you’ve made and enjoy the gourmet breakfast that’s delivered to your door. When you’ve rested enough, spend the day at The Edge, or head down to one of the gorgeous beach clubs in the area before you take off on the next phase of your trip.
